• You can connect a new pump with threaded plug (SP160X01T, SP160X03T) to an old solar panel with push together plug (SB1W1S, SB2W0D) in Birdbath fountains and 2-Tier fountains.
  
  
• You can connect a new pump with threaded plug (SP160X3ST) to an old solar panel with push together plug (SC0W8S, SC1W5B, SC1W5S, SC2W0D) in Spouting TableTop fountains, Pouring fountains, and Cascade fountains.
  
  
• If the model# on your pump does not end with T and the model# on your solar panel does not end with T, and you want to buy a new pump, then YES you will need this plug adapter #PA-10 to be able to connect the new version of the pump with your old solar panel.
  
  
• If the model# on your pump ends with a T (which has the new Threaded plug style) and your solar panel model number also ends with the letter T then NO you do not need a plug adapter.

PLUG ADAPTER SPECS:

• Plug Adapter cable is 4.5in (10cm) long
  
• Has new version threaded male plug and old version female plug on one cable
• Allows you to connect pumps with new threaded style plugs to older solar panels and AC adapters that have an older style plug 
• Allows you to connect a battery with old version plug to solar panels with new threaded plugs
  
• The male end has a Coaxial DC plug with tip size F (3.5mm OD x 1.35mm ID) and a threaded cap that screws on over the plug
• The female end has a Coaxial DC plug size M (which would connect to a plug with male tip size 5.5mm OD x 2.1mm ID) and it has a sleeve to go over other plug
