DOES MY ITEM COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Yes, all Smart Living Home & Garden products come with a 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty. This applies to all brands: Smart Solar, Smart Garden, It's Exciting Lighting, Sani-T, and Pebble Lane Living. It starts from the original date of purchase ends 1 year later regardless of the amount the item was used. The warranty applies only to items in new condition purchased from authorized licensed distributors, retailers, or directly from us. Items sold on reseller sites such as eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace are not covered under warranty because you're not the original owner.

If we shipped it from our warehouse then we will be able to look up your purchase info, but if it shipped out of a retailers warehouse then we will not have your purchase info on file. Therefore, at our discretion, we may require you to provide a copy of your purchase information. If you were given an item as a gift so you do not have a proof of purchase and we can't locate your purchase in our system because it didn't ship out of our warehouse then we may determine the warranty based on the manufacture date on your parts.

If you purchased a discounted or refurbished replacement part directly from our parts dept then it has been cleaned, inspected, and tested it by us. It is guaranteed to work but since we offer them at a reduced cost they come with a reduced warranty period.

WHAT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

The warranty covers parts that are properly installed and regularly maintained. If the product fails due to a DEFECT in material or workmanship we will replace the defective part free of charge. Solar fountains, solar lights, patio furniture, covers, etc are designed for outdoor use and with proper care will last for many years.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

We do not warranty items sold by unauthorized resellers on resale sites such as eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace regardless of whether they are new or used because you're not the original owner.

If a part fails due to improper use, lack of cleaning, acts of nature such as a storm or animal, or is accidentally broken by a person then the replacement part is not covered under warranty and will need to be purchased. If we do not stock the spare part that you need then you may need to order a new item. Failure to follow the cleaning steps and winter storage recommendations in the instruction manual (depending on the item) may cause the warranty to be voided. This applies to solar fountains that need to be stored indoors for winter. If you leave your fountain or solar kit outside in freezing temperatures it will void the warranty and any damage that occurs will not be covered under warranty.Items such as lights, furniture and covers can be left outside all year but we do suggest covering your furniture if possible.

Over time your item may naturally fade from being in the sun, become weathered by nature, develop scratches from use and handling. Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.

We do not cover the cost of shipping for all items. For some items such as Pebble Lane Living brand items we cover the cost of the item but the customer covers the cost of shipping.

WINTER STORAGE FOR BIRDBATHS AND FOUNTAINS:

Although our birdbaths and fountains are outdoor items they are also seasonal items. They need to be stored indoors (shed, garage, basement, etc) before temperatures reach freezing. We suggest cleaning it and storing it indoors once you have temps down around 40*F at night to avoid any issues.

If you leave it outside in freezing temperatures it will void the warranty and any damage that occurs will not be covered under warranty. Covering it with a tarp and leaving it outside is not considered proper winter storage since it's still affecting by freezing temperatures and moisture.

If you live in an area that does not get freezing temperatures at all during winter then your fountain can be used outside all year.

MISSING PARTS:

Please unpack and inspect the entire product within 5 days of delivery. If a part is missing please contact our customer service team. We will send the out missing part under warranty. We may require some information from your item or box to confirm what you need so please do not discard any packaging until you contact us. We have an extended grace period for customers that received items as gifts.

SHIPPING DAMAGE:

Shipping damage is not a warranty issue. The warranty starts once you receive a product in good working condition. Please unpack and inspect the entire product within 5 days of delivery. If any parts arrived damage please report the issue to the retailer that you purchased it from so they can file a claim with the carrier and reship another product to you. If you purchased it directly from us then we will file a claim with the carrier and send out either a replacement part or new product depending on what is available in our parts dept.

REPLACEMENT PARTS:

New replacement parts that are purchased directly from us come with a 1 year warranty. Discounted or refurbished replacement parts that are purchased directly from us come with a reduced warranty period of 30 days.

TERMS OF WARRANTY SERVICE VARY BASED ON TYPE OF ITEM AND YOUR LOCATION:

Warranty Replacement for Furniture (Tables, Chairs, Umbrellas)

The warranty for Pebble Lane Living items such as tables, chairs, and umbrellas covers the cost of the replacement part or item only. Pebble Lane Living will replace the part or item but the customer is responsible for covering the shipping fee. This applies to all 50 states.

Warranty Replacement for Solar Fountains, Solar Lights, Cover

The warranty for Smart Solar items such as solar fountains and solar lights, or TwoDogsDesigns covers the cost of the replacement item and cost of shipping if you're located within the 48 contiguous United States.

If you're located in Alaska, Hawaii, or US territories then the warranty covers the cost of the replacement item only and the customer is responsible for covering the shipping fee.

If you're located in Canada then our warranty covers the cost of the replacement item only. The customer is responsible for covering the shipping fee, customs duty, taxes, insurance, etc.
